MADRID — The Falcons opened their Spanish trip Wednesday with edge rusher James Pearce Jr. back on the field and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. listed as a full participant ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pearce sat out the season’s first eight contests while serving an NFL personal-conduct suspension. On the club’s estimated Wednesday injury sheet after a Madrid walkthrough, he appeared as a full participant in the non-injury other category. Coach Kevin Stefanski said the staff likes where Pearce stands after a month of strength work allowed during the ban and will decide later how large a snap load he handles against Cincinnati.
Bowman returned from a hamstring issue as a full participant. Deablo, listed with a forearm injury, and Robinson, listed with a hamstring, both took limited reps. Wide receiver Zachariah Branch did not work and has already been ruled out for Sunday with a hamstring injury.
Linebacker Yasir Abdullah, on the designated-to-return track from injured reserve, was also limited. The team held only a walkthrough Wednesday after an early arrival and plans more normal practice once the international schedule settles.
Atlanta faces Cincinnati on Sunday in Madrid on the NFL’s international slate. Pearce led all rookies with 10.5 sacks a year ago and is in line for his first 2026 snaps if coaches clear the workload. The estimated report will be updated through the rest of the week as both clubs practice overseas. Stefanski said the staff wants as much normalcy as possible now that the team has settled into the international time zone for the remainder of the trip.
