Eleise spent over 37 years working alongside her sister at Southern Bell, where she was a respected member of the Pioneer’s Club at BellSouth. Her commitment to her career and her family defined her life as she balanced her professional and personal responsibilities with grace.

The beauty of Eleise extended beyond her physical appearance; she was known for her well-dressed demeanor and her warm spirit. Family members recall her as a loving and giving individual who made a lasting impact on those around her. Eleise had a passion for her faith, as evidenced by her love for reading the Bible and her enjoyment of watching David Jeremiah preach every Sunday morning.

Eleise’s family mourns the loss of her presence, especially her brother, Jerry Martin. She was precede in death by her husband, Gary Bennett, with whom she shared a loving marriage. Eleise Bennett is survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Friends wishing to pay their respects can do so on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Woodstock Funeral Home, located at 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. Following this, a graveside service will take place at 12:00 PM at Crestlawn Memorial Park on Marietta Blvd in Atlanta, Georgia.

Born and raised in Georgia, Eleise embodied the warm Southern spirit that so many of her contemporaries cherished. Her lifelong commitment to her work and family illustrates her dedication and showcases the values instilled in her throughout her life.

Eleise’s memory will live on through the stories and experiences shared by her family and friends.
