Atlanta is welcoming a significant enhancement to its travel experience, as Delta Air Lines has unveiled a new Sky Club at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), reflecting the city’s rich tradition of Southern hospitality.
The newly established lounge is situated in Concourse D-Center Point, marking it as Delta’s eighth Sky Club in ATL. Notably, this is the first addition to the Sky Club lineup since 2016.
Spanning an impressive 24,000 square feet, this new lounge is the second-largest Sky Club by area and the largest in terms of capacity, with the ability to seat up to 506 guests.
Designed to embody local culture, the lounge showcases contributions from over a dozen local artists, featuring unique murals and artwork that resonate with the essence of Atlanta. This thoughtful design aims to create an atmosphere where guests can truly feel at home.
The lounge offers a variety of enhanced amenities for passenger comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy a 16-seat bar, a theater-style media wall, and soundproof phone booths perfect for privacy. Furthermore, the seating options are designed for various preferences, ensuring a comfortable stay.
A larger kitchen allows for an array of diverse food offerings tailored to satisfy every palate. Additionally, an abundance of power outlets throughout the lounge ensures that guests can stay connected while they relax.
The opening of the new Sky Club is expected to alleviate overcrowding in existing lounges, contributing positively to passenger flow as Concourse D expands to accommodate larger aircraft. Renovations for Sky Clubs on Concourses A and C are also on the agenda, with completion anticipated by the end of 2025.
Delta’s initiative with this new lounge is centered around providing a unique guest experience that prioritizes reducing travel-related stress and enhancing overall comfort during travel.
In addition to the newest Sky Club, Delta plans to introduce a new business class-only Delta One lounge in Atlanta, further enhancing the travel experience for its premium customers in the near future.
The lounge will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Access policies are consistent with other Sky Clubs, allowing entry for travelers flying in certain cabin classes or those utilizing specific credit cards.
