At the Mall of Georgia, Maki of Japan scraped the bottom with a score of just 64 points. Inspections revealed alarming deficiencies in active managerial control, leaving employees unaware of the critical responsibility to report foodborne illnesses. Concerns were raised when an employee was spotted cooking while sporting bracelets, a potential hazard in food preparation.

Adding to the restaurant’s woes, there were numerous food storage violations, including improper cooling practices and the presence of food debris lurking in walk-in coolers. These findings illustrate a troubling trend that could jeopardize the health of its patrons.

Golden Apple Buffet Faces Multiple Violations

Golden Apple Buffet had a challenging inspection day, filled with multiple food safety violations, although no specific score was given.
