Clayton brings a rich experience of 30 years in education, most recently as assistant principal at Glenwood Elementary School in Decatur. Her career is marked by diverse roles, including teacher and instructional coach, across both public and charter school environments.

Kristy Reese transitions from her role as interim principal to become the permanent principal at L.O. Kimberly Elementary School. Reese has over 20 years of experience in public education, including 11 years as a classroom teacher, and has held various leadership roles, making her well-equipped to guide the school community.

Adib Shakir steps in as the principal of Michael R. Hollis Innovation Academy after serving as principal of Princeton Elementary School in DeKalb County. Shakir’s expertise includes special education and management of school operations, providing him with a strong foundation for his new role.
