ATLANTA, Ga. — Two of the state’s top college men’s tennis programs share the courts this week with national championship bids on the line. Georgia Tech is hosting the 2026 ITA Men’s Southeast Regional Championships from Oct. 14 to 19 at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex, and Georgia is bringing its entire roster.

It is the first time the Jackets have hosted an ITA event since the 2023 edition of the same tournament. The two singles finalists and the doubles champion will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in November.

All eight Yellow Jackets are set to compete in the doubles main draw, with seven entries in singles. Freshmen Mason Taube and Lucas Yunez make their ITA debuts in the first round of singles qualifying at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Taube begins his college career as the No. 1 ranked player in the state of Georgia in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Jonathan Irwanto, Richard Biagiotti, Gianluca Carlini and Elias Shokry secured automatic spots in Thursday’s singles main draw for Tech. Tech features six returners from last season, including five of its main singles starters from the spring.

All 10 members of Georgia’s squad will make the trip, the first time the entire Bulldogs roster has been in action together this fall. Four Bulldogs start in singles qualifying, while all others start in the main draw, and five Georgia doubles pairings debut in qualifying.

Junior Wake Forest transfer Andrew Delgado leads the Bulldogs with seven singles wins this fall, including a ranked win. Freshmen Noble Renfrow and James Weber are expected to make their college debuts at the regional.

Last year, Tech’s Christophe Clement and Irwanto reached the singles quarterfinals in Gainesville, Fla.
